I am SO GLAD this election is over & ended in our favor! I'm exhausted physically & mentally (& financially) from doing what I could to help get blue on top. I live in Texas, so there wasn't a hope of winning the state. But major kudos to the hometown! Austin came through once again with a Democratic victory: 59.72% for Obama, just 36.91% for Romney.
Best moment of the night: looking up at the monitor as the Romney clan walked off the stage after his (finally) concession speech. My heart fluttered with joy! I was so elated & relieved, and so thankful to be seeing him exit from our lives.
And it looks like we'll win the popular vote, too!
Way to go, US!
